Team Looks Forward to Showcasing Fastest Growing Motorsport to Utah Fans
As you drive highway 15 just south of Salt Lake City, Utah you might see the RACEPRO TECH team transporter going down the road. Typically the massive semi truck is headed south hauling RACEPRO TECH’s fleet of race cars to a racing event in Nevada, Arizona or California. After each race the team makes the long haul back to their South Jordan (UT) race facility, where they spend countless hours getting ready for the next event. This week if you see the hauler it’s not going far. It’s headed just down the road to Miller Motorsports Park for rounds 7 & 8 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.
Justin Peck, Team Owner/Driver, will be on his hometown track piloting the #49 RACEPRO TECH ProLite. Peck has already been on a whirlwind media tour this week making appearances on television and radio to help promote the event. The entire team will be under the spotlight as they hit the track for the racing action with Round-7 on Saturday and Round-8 on Sunday.
RACEPRO TECH’s Dave Mason will be piloting the #65 Loan Mart ProBuggy, where he’ll be in search of his second win of 2015. Mason is currently 3rd in the Championship Points chase. The youngest member of the team at just 9-years-old is Dylan Peck, who will be racing in the Junior 1 Kart class.
Short Course off Road Racing has been named one of the fastest growing forms of motorsports in America. It’s been said that if you put NASCAR, Motocross, and Sprint Car Racing into a blender you get Short Course Off Road. Opening Ceremonies begin at 2:00pm on both Saturday June 20th and Sunday June 21st.
